Denomination Doesn’t Matter, Obedience Does

I heard bluntly in a dream from the Lord Jesus, that denominations don’t matter, obedience to the Lord does.

With thousands of different denominations, it can be confusing for a believer to distinguish the difference. Thank God for giving us insight into all that really matters is relationship with him and obedience. I do realize there are some sects that have strayed from the Gospel and Word of God. Some more, some less than others. It’s crucial to pray about where the Lord wants you at.

Obedience is better than sacrifice. Faith without works is dead. Our obedience proves that our faith is genuine, such that we are doers of the Word and not hearers only. Far too many are stuck in traditions of man playing church thinking that’s going to cut it. Many claim to be Christian and are not. Some are wolves, some ignorant, some lazy. Not all who say Lord Lord will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. Those who do the will of the Father shall be saved. It’s vital to salvation to have a real relationship with God and be obedient. He’s not expecting perfection and Gods grace is sufficient. It’s similar to a relationship with a husband and wife. Effort is necessary to keep a relationship alive. There will undoubtedly be up’s and downs. As long as we continue to seek Him, the path though narrow will be smoothed out. The more we seek Him, the more He seeks us.

As Jesus said, we must deny ourselves, pickup our cross, and follow him to be accounted worthy. Let’s ask ourselves and the Lord today: Is our walk worthy? If yes, well done and holdsteady. If no, brush yourself off and find that narrow path. ABBA will assure us family.

Much love, Malachi

1 Samuel 15:22

“And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.”

James 2:26

“For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”

James 1:22

“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”

Matthew 7:21

“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”

2 Corinthians 12:9

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
